Hush Puppies mission is to inspire individuals to be bold and live on the bright side of life. Believing optimism is contagious and through small acts of positivity, we can all help shape a brighter world.

When looking to convey these core values through the customer experience, retail, showroom and graphical communication Hush Puppies appointed Whiteroom Brand Design as the lead in experience, innovation and architectural design development. Working directly with the Leadership Team in the US we created a store of the future starting with a flagship store in Dubai’s Shopping Mall presenting the future direction of the Hush Puppies Brand.

Since being appointed, Whiteroom, through digital interactions, showroom design, retail formats and dynamic store frontages have created design directives and inspirational experiences. These showcase the Hush Puppies mission; bold, unique to the brand and that really do shine bright!

The strategic approach was to create a fluid retail journey, aligning the online and real world experience thus enabling the consumer to explore full collections, check stock levels and order efficiently. Remote checkouts, home delivery and connection bars taking prominent place in the store. This customised approach was an integral part in the design of the customer journey, creating positive, signature moments and truly encapsulating the brighter side of life concept!

Whilst designing the Dubai Shopping Mall retail space we also delivered the first European showroom launched in Kings Place London. The first step towards a full brand experience! A space to showcase and sell new collections for the European markets.

This is an exciting time for Hush Puppies, a company that is a fundamental part of the history of America’s fashion industry! The first ever to offer coloured, comfortable footwear since the 50’s, worn by celebrities and fashion icons worldwide.
