An iconic activation for an iconic brand

A couple of years ago we collaborated with AVIREX to develop an innovative retail concept for the UK and wider European market.

As an iconic brand with deep roots in both street culture and aviation heritage, AVIREX needed a space that would stand out in a crowded retail landscape while staying true to its identity. The result was a bold, immersive pop-up in Berwick Street, London that was designed to showcase the brand’s latest streetwear and leather jackets creating lasting experience, energy and atmosphere.

Solving the Challenge Through Design

AVIREX needed a high-impact retail activation that could function as both a shop and an event space. 

The pop-up needed to support product display, live music, digital content and a launch party atmosphere - all within a temporary space. Custom furniture, bold lighting and dynamic digital elements were integrated throughout the space, allowing it to shift seamlessly between retail during the day and event mode in the evening. 

Our design balanced AVIREX’s aviation references with street-led cues, creating an environment that felt authentic, energetic and culturally relevant. 

The Result

A high-energy retail moment built for impact.

The Berwick Street pop-up quickly became a destination, with queues stretching out the door and strong engagement from both customers and the fashion community. The launch event brought together influencers, Radio 1 DJs and guest talent, creating a buzz that extended well beyond the space itself. 

The result was an immersive retail experience that celebrated AVIREX’s heritage while reinforcing its relevance within contemporary street culture delivered through a space designed to be seen, shared and remembered.
